infoSIDA, the Spanish companion site to AIDSinfo, has updated the Spanish Health Topics page (Temas de Salud), adding hundreds of links to HIV/AIDS-related information in Spanish.  The page offers a comprehensive collection of links to government resources about HIV/AIDS-related topics.  The updated page provides access to resources on HIV/AIDS treatment and staying healthy with HIV/AIDS.  It also includes information for specific populations, health care professionals, and researchers.

New mental health AIDS Focuses on HIV and Aging

The fall 2011 issue of mental health AIDS is the second part of a series on HIV and aging.  "Positively Golden: Advances in Aging with HIV” describes: a "positive aging" framework not specific to HIV disease; a strengths-based model of coping, along with three meaning-centered strategies grounded within this model; the infusion of "positive aging" concepts into qualitative and quantitative research on adults aging with HIV; and the first controlled trial to assess if an age-appropriate, coping improvement group intervention benefits older adults living with HIV/AIDS who present with depressive symptoms.
